BOXING: Matt Skelton Matt "The Bedford Banger" Skelton (born 23 January 1967 in Bedford) is an English boxer who changed sports from kickboxing. He is a former English, British and Commonwealth Heavyweight champion, and has also held the lightly regarded WBU "World" title. bounced back from his defeat by British heavyweight rival Danny Williams Danny Williams may refer to:

with a fourth-round knockout victory over journeyman Suren Kalachyan at York Hall, Bethnal Green.

Skelton was forced to overcome a gutsy display from the visitor before finishing the fight with two vicious blows to the ribs.

Skelton said: "I was back in the gym training a few days after the Williams fight and wanted to get back as soon as possible. I'm rea for the rematch and believe I can put the record straight."
