RICKY HATTON has been denied the chance to win the IBF IBF

 light-welterweight title for a third time because of a cash row.

The Hitman faces title holder Paul Malignaggi in Las Vegas on November 22, but the New Yorker's belt will not be on the line as both fighters refuse to pay the pounds 300,000 due to the IBF in sanctioning fees.

Instead Hatton's Ring magazine and IBO Ibo: see Igbo.  belts will be up for grabs as the Mancunian makes his first US appearance since being knocked out by Floyd Mayweather in December.

Hatton is being trained by Mayweather's dad, Floyd Senior, after ditching Billy Graham who had trained him since he turned pro as an 18-year-old.

"I love Billy Graham with all my heart and we will always be friends," said Hatton. "I found it hard to tell him, but I had to do the best thing for Ricky Hatton and I feel better for it.
