In Part Two today the three boxers look ahead to D-Day Sunday... TWO years of preparation and expectation will come to a head on Sunday when the draw is made for the championships. It's paramount that we are picked in the right side of the draw as we are boxing the very best in the world. We are all confident,of course, but the last thing anybody wants is to draw the Olympic or current world champion in the first round. Drawing a less experienced boxer at major tournaments gives you the ideal way to warm-up early on, so we need everyone at home to keep their fingers crossed on Sunday. All our weights are bang on and we are just looking forward to the start of the championships now -and hopeful returning with medals. CAPTION(S): COACH: Franny Smith with Mulholland |
