Rhys Davies (November 9, 1901 – August 21, 1978) (born Vivian Rees Davies) was a Welsh novelist and short story writer, who wrote in the English language.
 will have to wait to make his professional debut.

The 24 year-old Coventry light-heavyweight was set to box in Nottingham tonight, but no opponent could be found.
