AUDLEY HARRISON Audley Harrison, (born on October 26, 1971 in London), is a British Heavyweight boxer. In 2000 in Sydney he became the first Briton to win an Olympic gold medal in the Superheavyweight division since the competition's inception in 1984. insists he has not been humiliated hu·mil·i·ate tr.v. hu·mil·i·at·ed, hu·mil·i·at·ing, hu·mil·i·ates To lower the pride, dignity, or self-respect of. The 2000 Olympic gold medallist will fight Danny Williams on Warren's star-studded December 10 show at London's ExCel, even though he had maintained he would never do business with Britain's top promoter. The pair have traded insults since Harrison snubbed Warren when he turned professional five years ago and the promoter cruelly renamed him "Audinary". But yesterday they put their differences in a press conference to announce that Harrison would headline Warren's 25th anniversary show, which will also feature Amir Khan plus Matt Skelton against Kevin McBride. Harrison, 33, who moved to America last year to keep out of Warren's clutches, claims he has not been forced into making an embarrassing U-turn. He says both men have made concessions and he cannot wait to fight back in his home city after his self-imposed exile. He said: "I ain't lost no face. As far as I'm concerned, Danny fits the criteria for my next opponent. I haven't got everything I wanted, but there has been give and take on both sides. "This will be a one-off fight for me. I will come over, fight and then go back to the States. Frank Warren will not have any options on me. "This fight suits Frank's purposes and it suits mine too. "Frank Warren's nemesis is back. Frank has been calling me 'Audinary', well I'm going to show him I'm extraudinary." Warren dropped the name calling yesterday and said: "This will be the biggest heavyweight fight in the UK for at least the last 10 years. "The British public are going to see what Audley Harrison is all about." Harrison, who has won all 19 of his pro fights, has also been feuding with Williams since he claimed when he quit the amateur ranks that he would win his British heavyweight title in five contests. Williams, 32, who famously stopped Mike Tyson last summer, said: "I've been calling Audley out for years so when Frank said the fight was on, I was delighted."
