TYNESIDER Gary Barr and Spennymoor's Stuart McCrone are lined up for another showdown in the regional round of the ABAs in Dunston on Friday.

Last year McCrone caused an upset when he stopped Barr, who was on the national elite list at the time.

Now the Birtley fighter is pitched against McCrone again at 81kg.

The big entry is at 64kg with no fewer than six fighters entered headed by David Ferguson of Newcastle East End, Birtley's England international Craig Dixon For The EastEnders character of the same name, see Craig Dixon (EastEnders)

Craig Kline Dixon (born 3 March,1926) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the 110 metre hurdles.
, Daniel Oldham of North Benwell and Bilton Hall's Sean Moore.

North Benwell's national champion Anthony Dillon is unopposed at 48kg.

The semis are on Friday with the finals back at Dunston on Thursday, April 10.
