Boxing: `Nothing will my dream' stop Cully.Byline: NICK PEET PEET Partnerships for Enhancing Expertise in Taxonomy (NSF) `THECHOIRBOY'Peter Culshaw is adamant that the looming bright lights and riches of Las Vegas won't eclipse his performance when he makes the first defence of his WBF super-flyweight crown at Wembley tomorrow night. Liverpool's long-standing flyweight king is one victory away from an elusive major title fight with one of the big guns from across the pond. First he has to negotiate top-rated Thai Wandee Charoen in the capital, and the Indonesian has come to fight. A former WBC WBC white blood cell; see leukocyte. That was key to his appointment as contender to Culshaw's new super-fly crown,as Liverpool's top-rated champion sets his sights on the sport's major belts. ``Charoen is a dangerous operator and well rated,'' said Culshaw, who goes head to head with the diminutive Thai at the scales in London this afternoon. ``I keep saying this is going to be my year. Well the only way to make the big fights happen is to beat the toprated contenders and that is the plan this weekend. ``Charoen is a smaller man coming up to super-fly which should be to my advantage, but I am told that he is only 23, sohe may still be growing. ``Whatever his situation, I am 30years-old now and have held a version of the world title for almost five years. Now I want to go for a major belt.'' Culshaw revealed: ``Audley will be looking to box more and more in America towards the end of the year. ``If he wants to develop his career more doors will open up for me. ``Audley made his US debut on the undercard of the big rematch between Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward last year and that would have been an ideal chance to be matched against one of the top flyweights based out of America. ``Next year that's the kind of arrangement we will be looking for, to go over and box for a major world title with Audley on the undercard.'' But that is for the future and Culshaw knows all the best laid plans can come crumbling down if a fighter becomes complacent. He added: ``Charoen will get all the respect he deserves from me on Saturday night, but nothing is going to stop me this year. ``I feel like I'mat my peak right now. ``It's time for me to step up and shoot for the dream.''
