Following the recital, Wirral-based solicitors Beech Jones De Lloyd hosted an Evening With Chris Eubank, where guests were invited to a Q&A session.

Host Paul Dumbleton, of Beech Jones De Lloyd, said: "We are delighted our client Mr Eubank accepted our invitation to the Kingsmead poetry recital, and everybody at the school was really excited.

"Chris was very generous with his time - doing the recital with the pupils in the afternoon and agreeing to hold an Evening With afterwards for local businesses and the pupils' parents.

"The evening event was something special for the guests, and was a rare opportunity for them to meet and listen to the great British sporting hero."
