LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 1996--With its ascending reputation as the Web site builder responsible for the creation of such award-winning projects as "Rocktropolis," "Crash Site" and "Megadeth Arizona" (voted Best Site of All Time by .net Magazine), BoxTop Interactive has responded to the onslaught of business opportunity with an aggressive corporate expansion, announcing the recent appointments of Hal Katersky as president and chief operating officer, Lisa Janzen as vice president, Zacharias J. Beckman as manager of technology and development and Jason Fiber as project manager.

Katersky will be responsible for overseeing BoxTop Interactive's daily management and operations, including production, marketing, finance and administration. He takes the helm at BoxTop after serving for 13 years as CEO of Katersky Financial & KH Property Management Co., and he was a management consulting partner at Touche Ross & Co.

Previously, Katersky served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of R&B Enterprises, a company that develops and manages both residential and commercial properties, and was senior vice president and CFO of The Taubman Co., one of the largest developers and managers of regional shopping centers in the United States.

Janzen will oversee client acquisitions and relations, deal structuring, fulfillment of site development, marketing and the execution of legal and contract negotiations. Prior to joining BoxTop, Janzen spent 15 years in the personal management field with firms such as Cavallo, Ruffalo and Fargnoli; Lippman Kahane; Camel Management and Borman Entertainment.

Beckman will define the future direction of BoxTop Interactive in terms of technological innovation and the management of Web site development, while also managing the internal research and development departments.

Prior to joining BoxTop Interactive, Beckman worked with such clients as the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department and Northern States Power as cofounder of Dolphin Technologies and BOSS Logic, two high-technology companies focused on information management and object-oriented development.

Fiber will assist in the management and development of Web- related ventures at BoxTop Interactive. Previously, Fiber spent three years as the manager of World Domination Records, an international independent label based in Los Angeles, where he supervised new media, marketing, budgeting and accounting for the company's creative and financial departments.
