EVERYONE knows that children are the hardest to please when it comes to Christmas presents.

Basically, there is no room for compromise here. If little Tarquin doesn't get THE latest Transfomers figure then life won't be worth living on Christmas Day for mumand dad.

 in their thousands, often through the night, in order to secure the gift of choice for their little angel.

So, how can you avoid shopping in a blind panic on Christmas Eve for that must-have toy? Do your homework and make sure that you know what are the top toys for Christmas 2007.

Argos, one of the UK's top toy retailers, has made a list of what it predicts to be the top children's gifts for this year - so don't say you haven't been warned!

The top toy for 2007 is predicted to be the latest robotic musthave from this summer's hit Transformers film.
