Former Netscape (NYSE: AOL) and PeopleSoft (Nasdaq: PSFT) executive Lorna Bender and former Intuit (Nasdaq: INTU) and Oracle (Nasdaq: ORCL) executive Kristen Brown will operate from the West Coast, further strengthening Bowstreet's presence in Silicon Valley. Bender and Brown are chartered with expanding the company's marketshare and worldwide presence through strategic direct and indirect partnerships throughout North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

As Vice President of Alliances and Channels, Bender will rapidly build and increase Bowstreet's channels, identifying, securing and managing indirect alliances to boost Bowstreet's revenue both domestically and overseas. As Vice President of Business Development, Brown takes the helm of Bowstreet's strategic partnership initiatives, evaluating mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing opportunities, and establishing strategic partnerships with B2B technology solutions leaders to solidify the company's position in the B2B marketplace.

Bender is applying her expertise at quickly multiplying revenue through business relationship networks comprising system integrators, OEMs, resellers, application service providers and digital marketplaces, among others. Bender's legendary relationship and revenue-building skills caught the eye of Netscape co-founder and author Jim Clark, who cites her in his book Netscape Time: The Making of a Billion-Dollar Start-Up That Took on Microsoft: "...we recruited Lorna Bender from PeopleSoft... Bender brings 17 years of extensive, strategic sales and marketing experience, most recently with Internet pioneer Netscape, e-business software provider PeopleSoft and Fortune 500 giant Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HWP). Bender was instrumental in leading and growing international sales for Netscape, achieving the fastest revenue growth in the company's history. The resulting distribution network of over 60 partners and 300 resellers generated 40% of Netscape's worldwide sales in its second year. Bender also contributed to PeopleSoft's rapid growth, developing key alliances with integrators and distributors worldwide.

Bender holds an MBA from the Haas Graduate School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, and a BA from the University of California.

Kristen Brown

Brown brings an impressive track record of identifying, negotiating and closing strategic transactions, including partnerships, investments, and mergers and acquisitions, in both the enterprise software industry and Internet e-commerce industry. During her tenures with e-financial innovator Intuit and enterprise software leader Oracle, Brown closed more than 50 transactions ranging in price from $1 million to $600 million each, helping both companies significantly increase earnings. At Intuit, Brown helped transition the billion-dollar revenue generator from a purely desktop software company to a high-growth Internet leader through several multi-million-dollar mergers. While at Oracle, Brown led and managed Oracle's strategic transactions for third-party technology, including mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, joint ventures and technology licenses.
