Bowstreet Adds Former Napster and Lucent Executives to Management Team; Don Dodge Appointed VP of Product Marketing and Jay Adams Selected VP of Finance.

Bowstreet (www.bowstreet.com), a leading provider of business web automation solutions for plug-and-play e-commerce, today announced that two highly successful industry veterans - Don Dodge and Jay Adams - have joined the company to help redefine the way companies do business. Dodge is Bowstreet's vice president of product marketing, and Adams has joined the company as vice president of finance.

As vice president of product marketing, Dodge is charged with leading Bowstreet's product strategy and developing product requirements to both meet and exceed customer expectations. He comes to Bowstreet most recently from Napster, the now infamous P2P online file-sharing site. At Napster, Dodge was responsible for client software engineering, product management and customer support. He helped to lead Napster through their hyper-growth stage to become the fastest growing application in the history of the Internet.

Prior to Napster, Dodge was director of engineering at Alta Vista where he led the team responsible for the first-ever, and still the largest, multi-media search engine for images, video and music. He also led business development at the Palo Alto Research labs for Compaq and Digital Equipment, after spending ten years in various finance and product management roles at Digital Equipment.

Dodge holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Southern Maine and holds an M.B.A. from New Hampshire College.

As Bowstreet's vice president of finance, Adams is responsible for financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, revenue recognition and planning, financial systems, the stock program, and the overall day-to-day accounting function.

Prior to Bowstreet, Adams spent over eight years at Kenan Systems, a provider of billing and customer care software products to the communications industries worldwide. He joined Kenan in 1992 when there were 100 employees and $10M in revenue. In February of 1999, Lucent Technologies acquired Kenan Systems and Adams was responsible for all merger-related activities, including due diligence and the complete integration of all financial systems and processes. Kenan then merged with one of Lucent's software divisions to form the Software Products Group. It is for this division, a business unit exceeding $1 billion revenue annually, that Adams became Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Adams was responsible for financial strategy, planning, forecasting and reporting.

Adams brings tremendous financial experience to Bowstreet. He also served as controller and director of finance at Kenan Systems. Prior to working in private industry, Adams spent five years in public accounting, performing audits and tax work for a wide range of clients in diversified industries.
