Bowne Acquires Document Management Services, Inc.; Bowne Business Solutions Strengthened with Addition of Boston-based Outsourcing Group.

Bowne & Co., Inc., (NYSE: BNE), the world's largest financial printer and a leader in document creation and management, today announced it has acquired Document Management Services, Inc. (DMS), a regional outsourcing company based in Boston, Mass.

The newly acquired company is the premier provider of outsourcing services to the professional services market in New England. Many of Boston's leading law firms, investment banks and accounting firms are among its clients. DMS will become a part of Bowne's outsourcing unit, Bowne Business Solutions (BBS). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
