Bowls: Bowlers to cash in at Penhill open triples.

PENHILL have revamped their annual open triples tournament.

The new Open Two-Wood Triples will start on Sunday, August 25, with the semifinals and finals being played on Sunday, September 1.

Prize money has trebled to pounds 1,250, with a first prize of pounds 750 - believed to be the largest for a triples event in the Principality.

South Glamorgan South Glamorgan (gləmôr`gən), former county, S Wales. Created in the 1974 governmental reorganization of Wales from portions of Glamorgan and Monmouthshire, in the 1996 reorganization it was divided between the unitary authorities of , beaten by a single shot by Mid Glamorgan, will be looking to fare better against Cardiganshire at Rhiwbina on Sunday (2.30pm).
