IT could be the Sky Bar for bowlers.

Lucky Strike, the new 20,000 square foot bowling alley located in the Hollywood & Highland shopping complex, combines 12 lanes with a lounge bar lounge bar

The complex, with floor-to-ceiling video screens at the end of each lane, can portion off two lanes into a private room -- with a private bar. And for the celebrity who wants to be there without necessarily huddling with the masses, there is a separate elevator elevator, in machinery
elevator, in machinery, device for transporting people or goods from one level to another. The term is applied to the enclosed structures as well as the open platforms used to provide vertical transportation in buildings, large ships,
 connected to the underground parking garage.

 used in the movie "The Big Lebowski," which was filmed at Star Lanes, hang on the walls. And floorboards from lane 16 of Star Lanes comprise Lucky Strike's bar top.

Unlike Star Lanes, there won't be league nights at Lucky Strike. For now, the alley is open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m., willi plans to become a 24-hour operation.

Already there are plans to open another location in Orange County and Boston. But for now, the focus is on Tinseltown.

Said Gillian, "There aren't many places in Hollywood you can enter without an admission fee and be entertained by just hanging out and socializing?."
