Bowers Metrology Moves to New UK Headquarters.

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 30, 2002

MegaPro Tools Inc. (OTCBB:MPOT) announced today that its UK company, Bowers Metrology, will this week complete its move to larger premises in Bordon, Hampshire, UK. The new 15,000 sq. ft. unit, double the size of the previous set-up, will house UK sales headquarters for Bowers and also the manufacturing facilities for the newly formed air gauging and systems division.

Stuart Millington, the UK Sales Director explained, "This move marks the next stage in our ambitious expansion plans for this division of Bowers Metrology and will combine the engineering expertise of the manufacturing team with the experience of the existing technical sales force. Bowers is famous worldwide for the manufacture of 3-point bore gauging instruments and the air gauging and systems products ideally complement this range."

Bowers distributes these products in over 50 countries worldwide, including via their exclusive US distributor, Fred V. Fowler Co. in Boston. Fowler has a well-established network of distributors and technical salespeople available to demonstrate the entire Bowers product range, including those from this newly formed division.

The Bowers Metrology Group, a division of Spear & Jackson, has four manufacturing sites; Bowers in Bordon, Bowers in Bradford, Moore & Wright in Sheffield and Coventry Gauge in Poole. The main products that are manufactured include internal and external micrometers, bore and air gauges, thread gauges and engineers hand tools.

MegaPro Tools Inc. owned Spear & Jackson, based in Sheffield, England, is one of the largest and oldest tool manufactures in the UK. Spear & Jackson's roots go back to the 1740's as one of the premium tool manufacturers.
