Bowater appoints David G. Maffucci Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

:BOW) today announced the appointment of David G. Maffucci as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Maffucci, 44, joined Bowater in 1977, and has held several financial positions including that of Assistant Controller and, most recently, Vice President - Treasurer.

Maffucci, who is a Certified Public Accountant Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

An accountant who has met certain standards, including experience, age, and licensing, and passed exams in a particular state.
, was with a major public accounting firm prior to joining Bowater.
