Bow Flex launch of infomercial campaign fuels sales boom.


VANCOUVER, B.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 20, 1997-- Direct marketing company Bow Flex Inc. has launched its first aggressive 30 minute Infomercial produced in conjunction with the award-winning advertising firm, Stilson & Stilson.

Bow Flex plans to intensify the Infomercial campaign because of the proven effectiveness of this method of advertising.

Sales figures for April 1997 broke all previous Company records by topping CDN (Content Delivery Network) A system of distributed content on a large intranet or the public Internet in which copies of content are replicated and cached throughout the network. $1.7 million (US$ 1.2 million).

Bow Flex is riding a wave of record breaking revenues. April was the third consecutive `US Million Dollar Month'. Total Quarterly revenues rose 100 percent over the first quarter 1996, with earnings per share reaching CDN$0.04 per share. In the same period in 1996, earnings per share were $0.01.
