Bovis starts work on World Trade Center Memorial.


The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation, in cooperation with the Lower Manhattan Lower Manhattan is the southernmost part of the island of Manhattan, the main island and center of business and government of the City of New York.  and various architectural, engineering and other design professionals in developing the construction documents.

 business development and has effectively managed M/WBE programs that have afforded scores of contracting opportunities to qualified M/WBE firms across the country.

The Foundation, in cooperation with the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation, issued a Request for Proposal for a construction manager in December 2005. Three proposals were reviewed based on staffing plans, performance history, technical and managerial capabilities and other qualifications to assure the delivery of the project on schedule and within budget. The contractors were asked to demonstrate expertise in providing pre-construction and construction phase services for large scale projects in major metropolitan areas.
