Bovis and Alexandra Construction Chosen to Complete Final Stage of The Tower at Carnegie Abbey.


In a joint venture, O'Neill Properties Group hires leading construction management firms for the vertical push of the 220-foot tower

PORTSMOUTH, R.I. -- Portsmouth's newest luxury residence will soon become reality as O'Neill Properties Group begins construction on the vertical portion of The Tower at Carnegie Abbey, an 80-unit, 21-story condominium building. Today O'Neill Properties Group announced it has hired Bovis Lend Lease and Alexandra Construction in a joint venture as the construction team for the development of The Tower at Carnegie Abbey. Construction at the base of the 220-foot tower was started last summer, and continued through the fall and winter months.

The Tower at Carnegie Abbey will become the architectural centerpiece of The Carnegie Abbey Club, a private sporting estate that offers residents unparalleled amenities including Scottish links golf, a yacht club, an equestrian center, tennis courts, and a European spa. Located on Narragansett Bay Narragansett Bay, arm of the Atlantic Ocean, 30 mi (48 km) long and from 3 to 12 mi (4.8–19 km) wide, deeply indenting the state of Rhode Island.
