) announced that the Nominating Committee of the Fund recently elected Mr. Joel Looney to the Board of Directors of the Fund. Mr. Looney is an investment adviser in Salina Salina (səlī`nə), city (1990 pop. 42,303), seat of Saline co., central Kans., on the Smoky Hill River; founded 1858 by settlers opposed to slavery, inc. 1870. , KS., and a partner in an investment advisory firm there. Mr. Looney fills a vacancy on the Board left by Mr. James Duff. In addition, the Board announced that it selected KPMG KPMG Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (accounting firm)
