Bottomline Technologies and PaylinX Form Strategic Alliance; Co-Marketing Agreement to Integrate Credit Card and ACH Solutions.

PaylinX(R) Corporation, the recognized leader in payment solutions for Internet businesses, call centers and large enterprises, and Bottomline Technologies(R) (Nasdaq:EPAY), the premier provider of Web-enabled billing, payment and electronic banking solutions, today announced a strategic co-marketing alliance. Under the alliance, each company will cross-sell their individual offerings and jointly deliver a full-scale, flexible payment offering for enterprise-wide transactions.

) will be integrated with PaylinX's enterprise payment server, called EnterpriZ Engine(TM), to offer customers the ability to initiate electronic payments and other automated debits and credits through the Federal Reserve's automated clearinghouse (ACH (Automated Clearing House) A system of the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank that provides electronic funds transfer (EFT) between banks. It is used for all kinds of fund transfer transactions, including direct deposit of paychecks and monthly debits for routine payments to ) system. In addition, EnterpriZ Engine's credit card and procurement card authorization and settlement facilities will be offered as an additional solution with Bottomline's UPE.
