Like everything else in life, skateboarding has a cycle. Sports, styles, clothes, cars, and hair all have their different periods of popularity. Even without skating, different styles have come and gone. Skateboarding has become so big, and we need to make sure it doesn't die. , but skateboarding is going to go down in popularity. Baseball was huge during the first half of the 1900s. But now look at it. Skaters outnumbered all baseball players back in the '90s. We need to make sure skateboarding doesn't die. Right now skateboarding is at its peak. Danny Way Danny Way (born April 15, 1974 in Portland, Oregon) is a professional skateboarder. But just like everything else, the attention will slowly focus onto some new fad. So just how are we supposed to keep skateboarding alive and thriving? Do everything you can. Enter the contests they have. Go to any and all demos they are holding. Keep parks in business. They are a big part of skateboarding. Buy from your local shop. Your shop can hold demos.  about skateboarding. If they really cared about skating, they would have just opened a skateshop. Sure, skateshops can be a little more expensive, but they will sponsor you. They will support the scene. Keep the energy up. See, back in the 1980s Rodney Mullen dominated every freestyle contest he entered. Rodney got first place in every contest, and some even said, "Why do we keep having freestyle contests if Rodney wins them all?" That was the death of freestyle right there. The same thing almost happened with vert and Tony Hawk. Thankfully he resigned. If one skater is number one in everything, skateboarding is going to die. We need to find a balance. Skateboarding must not die! Keep it alive.
