BOTSWANA Botswana (bŏtswä`nə), officially Republic of Botswana, republic (2005 est. pop. 1,640,000), 231,804 sq mi (600,372 sq km), S central Africa.  Tswapong Block

Significant concentrations of kimberlite kimberlite: see diamond.
kimberlite
 or blue ground

Dark, heavy, often fragmented igneous rock that may contain diamonds in the rock matrix.
indicator minerals, previously identified in reconnaissance sampling, have been confirmed in detailed sampling grids with 100 m and 50 m spacing. Detailed ground magnetic surveys have been completed over all the sample blocks.

It is now apparent that these results correspond to an area of multiple kimberlite intrusion discovered by De Beers in 1994, only recently reported to the government Geological Survey The term geological survey can be used to describe both the conduct of a survey for geological purposes and an institution holding geological information.

A geological survey
. Of prime importance among these intrusions is a kimberlite pipe with surface area of about 3/4 hectare, and a soil, gravel and calcrete cover of less than 2 metres.

The company has recently completed a shallow prospect pit into this kimberlite pipe. Mineral concentrates will be analyzed in Cape Town Cape Town or Capetown, city (1991 pop. 854,616), legislative capital of South Africa and capital of Western Cape, a port on the Atlantic Ocean. It was the capital of Cape Province before that province's subdivision in 1994.  to assess the diamond potential, and, if warranted, the bulk of the sample will be examined by caustic dissolution for micro-diamonds.

Deception Pan and Mopipi Blocks

Results from detailed 100 m soil sampling in selected parts of both the Deception Pan and Mopipi Blocks have confirmed broad anomalous distribution patterns of kimberlitic garnet. In addition, 5 and 3 macro-diamonds (+0.425 mm) have been recovered in samples from Deception Pan and Mopipi, respectively.

Despite these positive results, it has not been possible to define a probable kimberlite source from the indicator mineral concentrations. Therefore, it is not intended to proceed with further sampling at this time.

SOUTH AFRICA South Africa, Afrikaans Suid-Afrika, officially Republic of South Africa, republic (2005 est. pop. 44,344,000), 471,442 sq mi (1,221,037 sq km), S Africa.

The company is evaluating an exploration project for which resource outlining and reserve evaluation could be implemented in 1999. Access to mineral title is being pursued vigorously and, once secured, further details will be released.

ANGOLA

The Company continues its pursuit of a significant concession in the Lunda Norte region of Angola. Financial Resources

The Company remains debt free and well funded to pursue mining opportunities in Southern Africa.
