. ) Botswana Diamondfields Inc. regret to announce an incident has occurred at their Rovic Mine in the Boshoff District of the Free State, South Africa at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27. It is not clear at this stage exactly what has happened. In the incident, 56 employees of the mine were affected. Of those, 34 have been rescued and 4 deaths have been confirmed. A further 18 employees are presently unaccounted for, and are presumed dead. Rescue work has been suspended due to the risk to the rescue personnel.

The names of the deceased and missing persons will be released once all the next of kin The blood relatives entitled by law to inherit the property of a person who dies without leaving a valid will, although the term is sometimes interpreted to include a relationship existing by reason of marriage.
