Both Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) violating Charter of Democracy: Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.

ISLAMABAD, November 16, 2009 (Frontier Star): President Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed both PPPP and PML-N were violating Charter of Democracy (CoD) as PML-N leadership making secret meetings with military leadership, while PPPP not committed to work in accordance of CoD. Talking in a media program here Monday, he stated that political situation in the country has been deteriorating day by day adding that the incumbents should not test the patience of the nation. He also emphasized that both the mainstream political parties of the country PPPP and PML-N should evolve a middle way to address the prevailing challenges of the country including constitutional and commodity crisis. AML president further stated that in the incumbent parliament not party was committed to eliminate 17th amendment and the removal of the Presidency at this juncture of time will create further constitutional crisis in the country. Responding to a query regarding ongoing commodity crisis of sugar in the country, he stated that there have not been any sort of scarcity of sugar in the country but the prevailing shortage of sugar was the result of mismanagement.
