Potamochoerus porcus

   Die son het al agter die horison
   gesak en weerlig speel oro die borne.
   Na die dag in die droe veld braai ons
   die bosvark wat ons vroeer geskiet het
   en soos die as wit van die kole val,
   word die storieverteller langsaam stil.
