Boston.com Teams up with Brigham's Ice Cream to Give Bostonians ''The Scoop''.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 15, 2003

Boston.com, one of the most visited portals in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  and the homepage of thousands of ice cream lovers, today announced that it has partnered with Brigham's to offer free ice cream to greater Boston Greater Boston is the area of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts surrounding the city of Boston, Massachusetts. While Metro Boston tends to be the "Inner Core" surrounding the City of Boston, Greater Boston overlaps the North and South Shores, as well as the MetroWest region.  residents to celebrate the relaunch of its Web site. A free small cone or cup will be awarded to anyone that presents a coupon printed from the Boston.com Web site. "The Scoop" offer runs from Monday, September 15 through Sunday, September 21 and is valid for the exclusive "Boston.com" flavor. The limited-run surprise flavor will be revealed to Bostonians who stop by one of twenty-one participating Brigham's shops during the week.

Brigham's will promote the partnership in-store with large hanging posters announcing the exclusive Boston.com flavor and napkins imprinted with "Get your daily scoop at Boston.com."

"We are pleased to work with Boston.com on this fun promotion," said Darryln Leikauskas, director of marketing for Brigham's. "We have been New England's favorite ice cream since 1914, so it only made sense for us to partner with New England's favorite Web site."
