Boston Patent Law Association Elects Lando President.

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 19, 2002

Peter C. Lando, an attorney and shareholder with Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C., has been elected President of the Boston Patent Law Association.

, with more than 800 members across New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. The region is thought to have been so named by Capt. , is an association of intellectual property professionals providing educational programs and a forum for the interchange of ideas and information concerning patent, trademark, and copyright law. It organizes and hosts educational seminars, social events and conventions, and comments on rules and legislation impacting the profession.

Lando said he will stress the organization's vision, specifically its vigorous commitment to education, service and the professional community.

"Every organization needs a vision, and I plan to articulate ours clearly and emphatically," he said.

At Wolf Greenfield, Lando is a member of the firm's Executive Committee, co-chairs its Chemical Practice Group, and chairs the Marketing Committee.
