Founded in December 1985 in Newton, Massachusetts, the chain grew rapidly in the early and mid-1990s, filed bankruptcy in the late 1990s, and  turns this dream into reality this holiday season by giving people a new way to holiday while keeping the Thanksgiving meal truly special.

"Our goal isn't to change tradition or eliminate Grandma's special recipes," said Carol Schauer, Boston Market's holiday guru. "We just want to offer time-saving solutions that meet the needs of today's busy consumers. For example, based on feedback from our customers, we've introduced Boston Market Complete Holiday Banquets this year which include everything you need for a holiday meal, from appetizers to dessert and everything in between."
