Boston Herald Assigns Account to to Hill, Holliday.Business Editors BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2000 The Boston Herald The Boston Herald is a tabloid format newspaper, though not a tabloid in the traditional sense, and is the smaller of the two big dailies in Boston, Massachusetts (the other being The Boston Globe). , the second largest daily newspaper in New England New England, name applied to the region comprising six states of the NE United States—Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
