Boston Communications Group announces filing of registration statement for initial public offering of 3,825,000 shares of common stock.


BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 1996--Boston Communications Group Inc. announced today that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of 3,825,000 shares of its common stock.

Of the 3,825,000 shares, 3,500,000 shares will be sold by the company and 325,000 shares will be sold by selling shareholders. It is currently estimated that the initial public offering price will be between $11.00 and $13.00 per share. The offering will be managed by Alex. Brown & Sons Inc.; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp., and The Columbia Group Inc.
