Boston Acoustics improved driver and tweeter configuration enables the center channel loudspeakers to feature a space-saving design, while delivering dynamic theater-quality sound.

Product Specifications and Technology Highlights

Both the Lynnfield VR920 and VR910 feature drivers that are positioned close to each other for smooth, uniform radiation in both the horizontal and vertical axis for maximum coverage of the listening area. The cabinets feature heavy internal bracing for strength and rigidity, eliminating audible cabinet resonance.

The VR920, at only 7 inches high, is a three-way design featuring Boston Acoustics new 3 1/2-inch midrange driver that is vertically aligned with the VR tweeter. Two active 5 1/4 by 7 1/2-inch woofers provide deep, solid bass down to 55Hz and allow a reduction in height without compromising performance. The VR920's rear mounted vents are smoothly flared at both ends to reduce port turbulence.

The VR910 is a three driver, two-way design housing the VR tweeter, one active 5 1/4-inch woofer (jargon) woofer - (University of Waterloo) Some varieties of wide paper for printers have a perforation 8.5 inches from the left margin that allows the 3.5 inch excess on the right-hand side to be torn off when the print format is 80 columns or less wide.  and one 5 1/4-inch passive radiator
