 business development organization celebrated the region's multi-cultural make-up at an inaugural dinner in Birmingham.

The Asian Business Consortium marked the seasons of Christmas, Diwali, Eid and Vaisakhi in conjunction with Lloyds TSB Lloyds TSB Group plc (LSE: LLOY) is a banking and insurance group in the United Kingdom. It was formed in 1995 by the merger of Lloyds Bank and the Trustee Savings Bank (TSB). The Group's head office is at 25 Gresham Street, London.  Business Banking.

The group, based in Digbeth, invited prominent business individuals to the event, which was held at J-Jays Restaurant, Hagley Road, Edgbaston.

Ishtiaq Latif, chairman of the Asian Business Consortium, said: "The event not only displays the business diversity that exists within Birmingham but also shows the rich cultural and religious diversity that exists within the city."
