Boss of crashed firms in pledge.


THE boss of two Merseyside security firms has given an undertaking not to hold directorships or take any part in company management for six years.

 Security Services Security services are state institutions for the provision of intelligence, primarily of a strategic nature, but also including protective security intelligence. Examples include the Security Service (MI5) and the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) in the United Kingdom, and the  Limited and Wirral Security Services which suppled uniformed security guards.

The businesses, based at at Hamilton Square, Birkenhead, collapsed with total debts estimated at around pounds 276,000.

HKW Security Services was placed into voluntary liquidation Voluntary liquidation

 on 5 May 2000 with estimated debts of around pounds 129,000 owed to creditors.

Wirral Security Services was placed into voluntary liquidation on 3 April 2002 with estimated debts of around pounds 147,000.
