Boss calls for killer instinct.

Byline: Brian Halford

He was signed from Millwall on 29 August 2007 on a one year deal for an undisclosed fee.  shared the Saddlers' goals in a 3-2 victory at Tranmere that day but three games on opposing territory since have brought three defeats for Hutchings' side.

First came a 3-0 reverse at Hartlepool which could be written off as a wretched day at the office all-round.

But the narrow defeats at Milton Keynes Milton Keynes (mĭl`tən kēnz`), town (1991 pop. 36,886) and borough, S central England. Milton Keynes was designated one of the new towns in 1967 to alleviate overpopulation in London. It is the seat of the Open Univ.  Dons and Colchester would have been very different if Walsall had tucked away their chances.

At Colchester last week, Deeney and Byfield were well-supplied with crosses but failed to convert any of them, Byfield's goal coming from a ball straight through the middle.

With Sam Parkin Samuel "Sam" Parkin (born March 14, 1981 in Roehampton, England) is a professional footballer who currently plays for Luton Town in the Football League Championship. He is known as a prolific striker in the lower leagues.  and Steve Jones fit again and Alex Nicholls another option, manager Hutchings has scope to change things round.

But whatever the personnel involved he will be desperate for them to round off his team's attractive attacking play with the vital bit - putting the ball in the onion bag.

"We had enough balls in the box last Saturday to have scored two or three goals," Hutchings said. "Crosses from Matt Richards and Peter Till were going right across the six-yard box but we weren't getting on the end of them and that is something we have got to do. Strikers know that. "
