They crashed 2-1 against Studley, having lost out 3-0 at Kirby Muxloe Kirby Muxloe is a dormitory village 5 miles southwest of Leicester in the parish of Glenfield. The name "Kirby" comes from the name of a Dane, Caeri, who established the community here in the late ninth or early tenth century. The settlement was known as Carbi, and then later Kirby.  at the weekend, leaving Burley to lament: "We can't seem to a buy a win at the moment."

Their cause wasn't helped against Studley when central defender Morgan Morgan, American family of financiers and philanthropists.

Brookes was sent off, leaving the Stourbridge side to play 70 minutes with 10 men.

Burley complained: "I didn't have a problemwith the sending off but it did feel as though we were playing against 14 men at times."

That didn't stop Causeway from taking the lead on the stroke of half-time, courtesy of an Aaron Drakeley goal, but two defensive lapses let in Studley to secure the points.

Burley added: "I couldn't knock the effort or performance from the players, but I think we've reached the point where I need to freshen fresh·en

He is also tracking former Causeway youngster Scott Mears, who has since signed for Alliance rivals Cradley.

Burley continued: "Scott is still only 16 years old.We started a youth team this season called Causeway and Wribbenhall, which Scott played in, before Cradley stepped in to sign him.

"Scott's the type of youngster I'd like back, so that we can bring him through over the next couple of years.''
