Boss backs his Brakes to hit back at home; FA CUP.

HOME defeats hurt and Leamington are still agonising over their 2-1 setback to Oxford City at The New Windmill Ground a week ago - but manager Jason Cadden wants his men primed to hit back quickly when Market Drayton Town visit in the FA Cup first qualifying round.

Cadden dealt out a hefty kick up the backside to his men at midweek training following their lacklustre and uninspired reversal at the hands of City.

"We needed a reality check and I gave us one," he said. "The lads didn't play well against Oxford and they owe me and the fans a performance. The last time Market Drayton came to our place was about three years ago and we beat them 4-2 - a repeat would do nicely.

"The main aim is to reach the next round and to achieve that we need to up our levels in certain areas. Too many opportunities are going begging so we need our cutting edge back while our concentration and focus must be right for 90 minutes.

"Up front, midfield and at the back, I'm looking for us to be positive and get the job done.

"We shall show the opposition respect as let's not forget they have won six games in a row."

When Brakes beat Market Drayton back in November 2006, James Husband was among the scorers and Cadden believes the man who has made more than 150 appearances and netted over 30 goals could again provide the vital spark.

"James has been chipping in with a few goals already this season and is playing really well," added Cadden.
