, the Netherlands, is taking over SIG Pack packaging equipment operations from SIG Holding AG, headquartered in Neuhausen, Switzerland. Bosch and SIG signed off on the deal some time ago, but the acquisition is subject to approval by the anti-trust authorities.

SIG Pack is a manufacturer of packaging machines and systems, especially horizontal bag forming, filling and sealing as well as flat bag equipment, wrapping machines and robot technology for the food and confectionery confectionery, delicacies or sweetmeats that have sugar as a principal ingredient, combined with coloring matter and flavoring and often with fruit or nuts. In the United States it is usually called candy, in Great Britain, sweets or boiled sweets.  industries. The Swiss company has a workforce of some 1,540 and generates sales of about 230 million euros annually.
