Bosch Home Appliances today unveiled two new major product lines at premiere events at distributor HADCO's new showroom in Brooklyn's DUMBO design district. Retailers, media and other guests had their first glimpse of Bosch's Nexxt(TM) Washer and Dryer and Free-Standing Convection Range.

A New Range of Possibilities

Destined to revolutionize its product category in the same way the brand's dishwashers have, the Bosch Free-Standing Convection Range combines an unmatched assortment of cooking and convenience features with clean, European styling and advanced engineering. The result: a 30" Free-Standing Range that delivers superior cooking versatility, value and ease-of-use through Bosch exclusives such as Genuine European Convection(TM), 15,000 BTU PowerSim(TM) Burner and intuitive Touch & Turn(TM) oven control.

The new line, which rolls out nationwide in late 2003 through early 2004, marks the company's first entry into the free-standing range category but is based upon Bosch's many decades of experience in cooking appliance design and manufacturing. The Nexxt Generation of Laundry Care

Using European front-loading technology adapted to an American size and format, the Nexxt Washer and Dryer fulfill the unmet needs of today's consumers who want a laundry system that delivers high-efficiency cleaning performance while taking extreme care of the wide spectrum of fabrics that make up their wardrobe and extending the life of their garments and linens. The Nexxt Laundry line offers the next generation in laundry care through a combination of innovations in temperature selection, water movement and fabric protection.

Bosch has built on the technology of its Axxis laundry line, introduced in 2002, to offer an unmatched array of exclusive features and smart engineering that get clothes cleaner than previously imagined. The high-efficiency Bosch Nexxt Washer uses the Sensotronic Plus(TM) wash system to digitally monitor and maintain water temperatures for 15 different washing programs, while the Auto Load Adjust sensor continually adjusts water level, wash time and energy consumed according to load size. To gently dry clothes, the Nexxt Dryer employs the Duotronic(TM) system, a combination of moisture and temperature sensors that automatically determine when the clothes are dry to prevent damage from over-drying.

German engineered and made in the state-of-the-art Bosch factory in New Bern, N.C., the Bosch Nexxt Laundry line debuts at appliance retailers in January 2004.
