Bosch Establishes Cooking Stronghold with New Range Line-Up, Solidifies Position as Environmental Leader and Highlights Latest Appliances at IBS 2006.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Premium appliance manufacturer Bosch kicks off the year with the unveiling of its newest collection of ranges brimming with advancements at the 2006 International Builders' Show (IBS). As with its award-winning dishwasher line, the new product structure divides Bosch's ranges into two design lines -- the Evolution(TM) Series consisting of freestanding ranges, and the Integra(TM) Series of slide-in ranges with a flush appearance. Both offer the European styling, high performance, and ease-of-use for which Bosch ranges are known. Among the new models is the flagship Evolution Pro(TM) Range with a full stainless steel exterior for a powerful presence in any kitchen.

Other new Bosch products that will be highlighted include a preview of new ceramic electric cooktops and, for the first time ever, Bosch refrigeration, which will enable consumers to have a complete Bosch kitchen. Additional offerings include the top-rated Evolution and Integra dishwashers, the Nexxt(TM) laundry line, wall ovens, ventilation and new built-in Benvenuto(TM) Gourmet Coffee Machine. Bosch will also announce its sponsorship of the National Building Museum's major exhibition, "The Green House: New Directions in Sustainable Architecture and Design," and celebrate the Robert Bosch Corporation's U.S. centennial and the company's rich history in this country.

Evolution(TM) and Integra(TM) Ranges

Bosch boldly expands its foray into cooking with the debuts of its Evolution and Integra Series Ranges. The Evolution line builds on the superior versatility, value and ease-of-use established with the brand's first line of freestanding ranges while the Integra Series provides another brilliant option for builders and consumers looking to complete their Bosch kitchens. Both lines feature new exclusives that take the performance a step further include Exxactemp(TM) Oven, a temperature system that monitors the top and bottom elements for superior performance, OptiSim(TM) burner, and an upgraded 16,000 BTU POWERSIM(TM) burner.

The Bosch Evolution Ranges will be available in electric, gas and dual-fuel models in the 300, 500, and 700 Series and the Integra Ranges will be available in electric and dual-fuel in the 700 Series.

Ceramic Electric Cooktops

Bosch's new touch control ceramic electric cooktops take the brand's previous lineup of cooktops a step beyond in performance, flexibility, and affordability. Divided into three classes -- 4 Series, 5 Series and 6 Series -- builders and consumers will be able to choose the ideal cooktop that suits their needs. Industry exclusives include Power-Boil, which uses 100% of wattage for faster boil-up and Precision-Sim, offering a wider range of simmering options. The cooktops will be available in touch control and mechanical control options in 30" and 36" models beginning in August 2006.

Refrigeration

For the first time ever, Bosch offers a refrigeration line allowing builders and consumers to have a complete Bosch kitchen. The counter depth Bosch refrigerators will align perfectly with most standard kitchen cabinetry, providing a built-in look without the expense. This refrigerator will be available in stainless steel, black and white beginning in July 2006.

Dishwashers

Bosch now offers its popular countertop Benvenuto Gourmet Coffee Machine as a built-in model, giving coffee aficionados a new option in obtaining a professional coffee experience at home.
