Borland to Participate in Mexico Trade Mission Led by U.S. Secretary of Commerce.

Borland Software Corporation (Nasdaq:BORL) today announced that Keith E. Gottfried, its Senior Vice President-Law and Corporate Affairs, General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer, will accompany U.S. Commerce Secretary, Donald L. Evans, on a Business Development Mission to Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico, June 17-20.

In addition to helping U.S. businesses, like Borland, explore new trade and investment opportunities in Mexico, the focus of the mission will be to strengthen economic relations between Mexico and the United States, enhance the dialogue between government and industry on issues affecting the development of U.S.-Mexican commercial relations and emphasize the benefits of international trade for improving the standard of living and quality of life for all mankind.
