Borland Names Paul W. Emery II as CFO.


SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 5, 1996--Borland International Inc., a leading provider of products and services for software developers, today announced that Paul W. Emery II has been named vice president of finance and administration and chief financial officer (CFO See Chief Financial Officer. ). Emery, who reports to Borland's Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, William F. Miller, will be responsible for managing finance, information services and operations. Emery succeeds David Mullin who announced his resignation as Borland's CFO in August 1996.

Emery joins Borland after serving as CFO for Micromodule Systems, a developer and manufacturer of miniature multi-chip modules. Previously, Emery held positions as vice president of finance and administration and acting vice president of marketing for Megatest Corporation; CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
