(TfL) raised concerns that the work on the London Underground The London Underground is an underground railway system - also known as a rapid transit system - that serves a large part of Greater London, United Kingdom and some neighbouring areas. It is the world's oldest underground system, and is one of the longest in terms of route length.  (LU) Jubilee line The Jubilee Line is a line on the London Underground ("the Tube"), in England. TfL said it was now calling on Underground maintenance company Tube Lines Tube Lines Limited is a private company, responsible for the maintenance, renewal and upgrade of the infrastructure, including track, trains, signals, civil work and stations, on three London Underground lines.  and contractor Bechtel to review the Jubilee line program.

TfL had already agreed extra weekend closures of the Jubilee line which has affected, among other things, events at the O2 arena in south London.

Mr Johnson said: "LU has been making excellent progress with its programme of improvements. I am hugely frustrated at their progress to date, which is simply unacceptable.

"Tube Lines' hunger for more Jubilee line closures has stretched the patience of Londoners and business almost to breaking point. Before we can consider any more disruption, we must have confidence they will deliver."
