Borders Group Inc., a leading global retailer of books, music and movies, has signed an agreement naming Books In Print(R) from R.R. Bowker R.R. Bowker, LLC provides information support for the publishing industry in the United States. Borders Group, a long-time customer of Bowker's Books In Print directory and booksinprint.com online bibliographic database, has expanded its relationship with Bowker to manage the company's entire bibliographic file, including data collection and maintenance regarding published titles, price changes, and title availability for the more than 445 Borders stores and approximately 700 Waldenbooks stores nationwide.

Borders' bibliographic file is used throughout the company by its buying team and back office operations, and is also supplied to Borders' in-store customer information systems, as well as to the title reservation function available on www.bordersstores.com.
