Borders Books and Music Adds Four Additional Performances by Grammy-winning Artist Cyndi Lauper.

    ANN ARBOR, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 19, 2002--Borders Books
and Music(R) will host vocalist Cyndi Lauper in four additional
Borders locations during her current tour schedule.
    Ms. Lauper, who is on tour with Cher, has already appeared in five
Borders stores this summer for in-store performances and CD signings.
She will sing four songs, including both new and classic material,
acoustically from her new album, "Shine," in each Borders where she
makes an appearance. "Shine" is distributed by Oglio Records and ADA
Distribution.
    "Cyndi Lauper's a hit in every Borders store she enters. Our
customers love seeing her perform in a more intimate setting," said
Tami Heim, president of Borders Stores and Borders Online. "We are so
pleased that she's added more Borders stops to her performance
schedule."
