Borders Books & Music(R) to Open Store in Crestview, Kentucky.


ANN ARBOR Ann Arbor, city (1990 pop. 109,592), seat of Washtenaw co., S Mich., on the Huron River; inc. 1851. It is a research and educational center, with a large number of government and industrial research and development firms, many in high-technology fields such as , Mich. -- Borders Books & Music will open a 20,000 square-foot store in Crestview, Kentucky Crestview is a city in Campbell County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 471 at the 2000 census. The city of Crestview Ky. was originally founded as "Vet Village" in 1948 by veterans of World War II.  this October. The store's location will be in the Crestview Hills Town Center, located at the intersection of Dixie Highway The Dixie Highway was a United States automobile highway first planned in 1914, to connect the US Midwest with the Southern United States. It was part of the National Auto Trail system, and grew out of an earlier Miami to Montreal highway.  and Interstate 275.

The new store will be the first Borders store in Northern Kentucky and the fifth store in the greater Cincinnati area. The new site was selected based on a variety of factors including consumer demographics, the strength of the co-tenants, traffic patterns, the availability of parking and the overall attractiveness of the site.

Like the more than 500 Borders stores worldwide, the Crestview store will offer a vast selection of up to 200,000 book, music and movie titles available in an inviting atmosphere with plenty of comfortable seating throughout the store. The new store will feature a Seattle's Best Coffee Seattle's Best Coffee is a specialty coffee retailer and wholesaler based in Seattle, Washington, USA. It became part of Starbucks Corporation on July 14, 2003. Its international division is owned by FOCUS Brands, Inc. In addition, Borders makes it easy to find the books, music and movies that customers need. Each store features multiple self-serve Title Sleuth(R) computer stations, offering customers the opportunity to see if a particular title is in stock and where it is located within the store. If the item is not in the store, Title Sleuth allows customers to search neighboring stores and also to access more than 15 million out-of-print and hard-to-find titles worldwide. Through an alliance with Amazon.com, online shoppers at Borders.com can use the "In-Store Express Pick Up" option. This service combines the ease of shopping online with the convenience of paying for and picking up an item at a Borders store the same day.

Borders Original Voices program, now in its tenth year, gives recognition to new and emerging authors and artists and helps Borders share its passion for books, music, and movies with customers, from one enthusiast to another.
