BorderWare Technologies Inc., a leading provider of network security solutions, announces that it has joined the Cisco AVVID AVVID Architecture for Voice, Video and Integrated Data (Cisco)
AVVID Architecture for Voice Video and Integrated Data
 (Architecture for Voice and Video Integrated Data) ecosystem program as a Technology Affiliate member. Customers can now deploy MXtreme(tm) Mail Firewall appliances to protect internal email systems and to ensure secure access for remote Internet users.

The Cisco AVVID partner program sets criteria for interoperability testing by independent third parties and is a co-marketing program enabling leading product and services firms to deploy innovative new e-business solutions. The program provides customers with solutions that have been independently tested and verified to interoperate with specific versions of Cisco networking technology within the SAFE (Secure Architecture for E-business) blueprint.

The BorderWare MXtreme Mail Firewall installs at the network edge to provide comprehensive perimeter security for email systems. SPAM, viruses, worms, directory harvesting, relay attacks and eavesdropping Secretly gaining unauthorized access to confidential communications.
