.A) Boralex Inc. announces its financial results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. For the quarter the company recorded net earnings of $184 875 or $0.001 per share, compared to a net loss of $201 073 or $0.001 per share for the same period last year. A firm's net cash inflow resulting directly from its regular operations (disregarding extraordinary items such as the sale of fixed assets or transaction costs associated with issuing securities), calculated as the sum of net income plus noncash expenses
 amounted to $450 373 or $0.002 per share, compared to $278 625 or $0.002 per share for the same period in 1995. Sales during the quarter amounted to $3.4 million compared to $2.2 million for the same period in 1995.

The net earnings for the third quarter include a non-recurring gain of $138 900 from the sale of certain mining assets.

These results bring sales for the nine months ended June June: see month.  30, 1996 to $10.4 million, up from $7.9 million for the corresponding period of the previous year. For the first nine months of the year the company posted a net loss of $24 386 or $0.000 per share, compared with net loss of $153 725 or $0.001 per share for the same period last year. Cash flow from operations for the period to date totalled $1 648 844 or $0.010 per share, compared to $1 526 047 or $0.011 per share in 1995.
