CULTURE Club members can win a pair of tickets to see the 'Best Big Band in the Land'' at the Empire Theatre, Consett, on Thursday October 15 at 7.30pm.

Leader of the orchestra, Chris Dean, promises to pack a real punch with this new show. Featuring the music of Glenn Miller, Billy May, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and more the score will be played live by a group of passionate performers.

Culture Club members have the chance of winning two tickets to see the show along with a CD celebrating 40 years of swing.
